With climate change looming, people all over the world are looking for better ways to reduce their impact on the environment.  Whether you live in a rural area or in the heart of an urban metropolis, there are a lot of simple practices that can help you go green.  While knowing how to go green is simple, it’s also important to implement green practices and make them a part of everyday life. Here are a few lifestyle changes that can have a big impact on the environment:

- Grow a Vegetable Garden – it’s important to reduce our dependence on produce that contains pesticides, toxins, and chemicals that can harm the environment.  Growing a vegetable garden can cut costs and also provide great food for healthy meals.
- Install Solar Panels – solar energy is clean and renewable, and low impact on the environment.  You can install solar panels on a balcony, deck, or rooftop and power electrical devices in the home. It’s easy with a DIY solar panel guide.
- Recycle and Compost – it’s important to recycle paper, cans, bottles, and organic material, and doing so is simple. Compost makes great fertilizer, and can be made from all kinds of organic material.
